Returning goods is very stressful for the environment. This is due to several reasons. First, products are often sent back and forth. Sometimes only from you to the online department store when it gets a second life there. It just so happens that the products are often opened, used or damaged and cannot be sold as new. The products are then often viewed by the department store and set aside. Unopened products are sometimes taken back into stock.
With cheaper products, for many online stores the processing costs exceed the value of the products. Then, unfortunately, it happens that the products are destroyed and do not get a second chance. The incineration of these products leads to additional Co2 emissions one more time to then have the product produced again.
With Retourkoop.nl we want to give as many products as possible a second chance. In doing so, we try to burden the environment as little as possible and avoid extra production. We bring the products in a sustainable way in the best possible condition. We reuse as much packaging material as possible such as boxes and padding material to get the package to its new owner as sustainably as possible. We compensate for the inevitable CO2 released by our business process ("Trees for all").
With Retourkoop.nl we can prevent extra production in the long run. Products that really cannot be salvaged (think defective used products) are reused and recycled as many parts as possible.
