Handy box model
The Bathurst 7.5 is a box-type sleeping pad, which means the sidewalls are completely straight. This allows the sleeping surface of 198 x 68 centimeters to be used optimally, and a second sleeping mat can easily be placed next to it for an "edge to edge" sleeping experience. The top and bottom of the mat is made of sturdy polyester.
Ultimate comfort using 7.5 inches of foam
What makes the Bathurst 7.5 even more comfortable is the soft, 7.5 inches thick foam on the inside of the mat. The foam has a high density, which provides good insulation. This is nice on colder nights where cold comes up from the ground as well. The foam is not solid, but is horizontally perforated. This means that the foam contains so-called horizontal air tunnels, which saves enormously on packing volume and weight. In addition, the foam has an anti-bacterial treatment which prevents any fungal growth.
Large, multifunctional valve
This mat has one large valve that allows you to both inflate and deflate the mat. The valve has 3 positions: Open, inflate (to re-inflate, with the orange part on the inside) or deflate (with the orange part on the outside). You easily turn it with your finger to the desired position.
After you roll up the mat, store it compactly using the included compression straps and stuffsack.
Always including repair kit
At NOMAD, we know that when products are used properly, they sometimes suffer damage. To extend the life of the Bathurst 7.5, the mat comes standard with a repair kit.
