Deze 10 centimeter dikke mat is de juiste keuze voor jou als je op zoek bent naar ultiem comfort tijdens kampeer- of campervakanties of tijdens logeerpartijen in huis. Met deze Extra Wide variant krijg je er 12 centimeter in de breedte bij.
De Darwin Plus XW 10.0 is een slaapmat met een boxmodel, wat betekent dat de zijwanden volledig recht zijn. Hierdoor kan het slaapoppervlak van 198 x 78 centimeter optimaal benut worden én kan een tweede slaapmat er gemakkelijk naast gelegd worden voor een ‘edge to edge’ slaapervaring. De bovenkant van de mat is gemaakt van zacht, rekbaar polyester wat met je lichaam meevormt en je dus op alle punten ondersteunt. De onderkant van de mat is voorzien van een anti-slip patroon zodat je mat – ook als je een keer op een schuiner oppervlak ligt – niet wegglijdt. De mat is op een natuurvriendelijke manier waterafstotend gemaakt (PFC-vrij).
Wat de Darwin Plus XW 10.0 nog meer zo comfortabel maakt, is het zachte, 10 centimeter dikke schuim aan de binnenkant van de mat. Het schuim heeft een hoge dichtheid, wat voor een goede isolatie zorgt. Dat is fijn in koudere nachten waar kou ook vanuit de grond omhoog komt. Het schuim is niet massief, maar is horizontaal geperforeerd. Dat betekent dat het schuim zogenaamde horizontale luchttunnels bevat waardoor er enorm wordt bespaard op gewicht en pakvolume. Hiernaast is het schuim voorzien van een anti-bacteriële behandeling wat eventuele schimmelvorming voorkomt.
Deze mat heeft niet één, maar twee handige grote ventielen waarmee je de mat zowel opblaast als leeg laat lopen. Je kunt ze beiden gebruiken om je mat bijvoorbeeld in één keer leeg te laten lopen, maar je kunt er ook één gebruiken om bijvoorbeeld een beetje lucht bij te blazen of weg te laten lopen. De ventielen hebben 3 standen: dicht, half open of open. Je draait ze gemakkelijk met je vinger naar de gewenste stand.
Nadat je de mat hebt opgerold, berg je hem compact op door middel van de bijgeleverde compressiebanden en draag je hem gemakkelijk met je mee in de bijbehorende stuffsack met draagsysteem.
