Bovendien komen je ogen tot rust en zal een blauw licht filter je ook overdag helpen om klachten zoals hoofdpijn of geïrriteerde ogen tegen te gaan. We zetten de verschillen hier op een rijtje: De geel kleurige lenzen De geel kleurige lens blokkeert tot 75% van het blauwe licht en wordt aanbevolen om overdag te gebruiken tijdens je werk buiten of op kantoor. Deze geel kleurige lenzen laten nog wel blauw licht door maar filtert de juiste hoeveelheid. Gedurende dag heb je namelijk ook een bepaalde dosis blauw licht nodig om alert en wakker te blijven. Let wel op, je zult de kleuren waarnemen in gele tonen, je kunt nog gewoon scherp zien, maar het contrast tussen kleuren zal iets minder zijn. Doe je dus werk, zoals graphic designen, waarbij het belangrijk is om het contrast tussen verschillende kleuren goed te zien dan kan dit onhandig zijn in je werk. Er zijn ook blauw licht filter brillen zonder gekleurde lenzen, deze kunnen tot 40% van het blauwe licht blokkeren. Verder kan de bril met geel kleurige lenzen ook prima gebruikt worden voor het slapen gaan als je toch nog iets meer contrast in kleuren wil zien tijdens het tv kijken bijvoorbeeld.
