Returning goods is very harmful to the environment. This is due to several reasons. First of all, the products are often sent back and forth. Sometimes only from you to the online department store when it gets a second life there. However, it often happens that the products are opened, used or damaged, in short, unsaleable as a new product. The products are then often viewed by the department store and set aside. Unopened products are sometimes returned to stock.
For many webshops, the processing costs are higher than the value of cheaper products. Unfortunately, it happens that the products are destroyed and no longer get a second chance. The combustion of these products leads to extra CO2 emissions, only for the product to be produced again.
With Retourkoop.nl, we want to give as many products as possible a second chance. In doing so, we try to minimize the impact on the environment and prevent overproduction. We bring the products back to the best possible condition in a sustainable way. We reuse as much packaging material as possible, such as boxes and filling material, to get the package to its new owner as sustainably as possible. The unavoidable CO2 released during our business process is compensated by us ('Trees for all').
With Retourkoop.nl, we can prevent overproduction in the long run. For products that really can't be saved (think of defective used products), we reuse and recycle as many parts as possible.
