In many countries, there is a requirement to use snow chains under certain conditions. Roads where snow chains are required are marked with a special traffic sign. Carpoint KNS-70 snow chains offer a solution in these circumstances. The KNS-70 Carpoint snow chain is made of 9mm hardened chain links and is suitable for (light) passenger cars. Thanks to its special cross-pattern, this chain provides good traction on the road surface in winter weather conditions.
The snow chains come in a set of two. Always mount the snow chains on the driven wheels, for four-wheel drive cars mount the snow chain on the front wheels. The Carpoint snow chain is easy to install without moving the car, even if there is little space between the tire and the wheel well. The tensioning system ensures that the chain is easily in the right place. Check the chain after about 100 meters and re-tension if necessary.
Snow chains are car specific. Whether this chain is suitable for your car depends on make, type, model, year of manufacture and tire size of the car.
