When you want to buy a bicycle helmet online, it is important to know what size helmet to buy. After all, a well-fitting bicycle helmet not only ensures optimal safety but also the necessary comfort while cycling.
It is easy to measure what size you need yourself. When you measure your head circumference using the steps below, you will have the size you need for a bicycle helmet within seconds.
1. Grab a tape measure.
2. Place the measuring tape about 2.5 cm above your eyebrow and thus measure the circumference of your forehead.
3. Use the size chart in the product text of the bicycle helmet you have your eye on to find the right size.
Note that not all manufacturers use the same sizing.
What is a size M with one manufacturer may be a size S or L with another. Therefore, always check carefully what the size is in centimeters.
